I’m not one for cleanses. I am all about moderation and so I like to create small, daily habits that when strung together create a healthy rhythm. That being said, I wanted to create a concoction that would provide a gentle “cleanse” each morning, while also utilizing practical and affordable ingredients.
Here’s what I came up with:
8 oz. water
1/2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar (organic, raw, un-filtered)
1/4 of a fresh lemon, squeezed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
I drink this every morning prior to breakfast, after having a glass of water. Surprisingly, it doesn’t taste a gnarly as you might think. If you are sensitive to strong tastes, however, try mixing these ingredients with a hot tea of your choice.
Here’s what I’ve noticed:
Higher energy levels throughout the day
Decreased inflammation, including decreased bloating
Clear and toned complexion
